30 minutes with Ester: Data journalism is a popular area among journalism scholars. However, it is quite unusual that the results are reported back to journalists. Furthermore, results found in academic papers might not seem important or useful for professional journalists. This talk will present selected results from a number of studies with a focus on usefulness for practicing journalists, for journalism educators and for future research.
